Maybe we should rename our upcoming GPC Walk and Talk a "Walk and Draw!" Join us on Saturday, May 21^st from 10-12pm to think about the art of nature journaling with GPC Stewardship Associate Micaela Petrini. With nearly a decade of experience in environmental education, Micaela has lead nature-based journaling programs for hundreds of learners. Together, the group will explore the unique micro-habitats that make up the beautiful 98-acre Sehmel Homestead Park, 75 acres of which is protected under a conservation easement held by Great Peninsula Conservancy.  Prepare to slow down, relax your busy mind, and engage more deeply with the natural world through journaling exercises and artistic prompts. Bring your notebook, mobile art supplies, and your best journaling questions!

• The walk will be ~2 miles 
• The terrain is flat and even
• Please bring your own notebook/sketch pad, pens/pencils, or whatever "on-the-go" art supplies you prefer for journaling
• Feel free to bring your favorite field guide to help with species identification
• Please dress for the weather
