What: A GPC Walk and Talk - The Eagles and Midshipman of the Seabeck Shoreline

Details: Discover why photographers and nature enthusiasts flock to Seabeck each spring during this tour of Big Beef, Little Beef, and Gass Preserves! Each year from May to July, thousands of bald eagles descend upon the Seabeck shoreline to feast on midshipman fish spawning in the Big Beef estuary. Join GPC staff to learn about this marvelous natural event, the ecological importance of midshipman fish to eagle health and fitness, and recent land acquisitions protecting this vital wildlife resource.
Accessibility: Please anticipate walking close to 1 mile. Terrain will be possibly muddy/slippery, along natural trails and short inclines.
