This three part meeting series with Great Peninsula Conservancy will focus on the recently established Newberry Woods Community Forest and the ways in which the community (you!) want to engage with the forest. 

Join us in this first of three public meetings to discuss how the new community forest at Newberry Woods can best benefit the people and wildlife of our region. At this meeting, we will spend time brainstorming ideas such as: Who makes up our community? Who else can we bring to the planning table? What objectives do we (the community) have for the forest? What benefits do those objectives offer? By the end of this meeting, we aim to have a list of many potential new community uses for this forest. 

Meeting Dates:

• Meeting #1: Tuesday, January 17, 2023 (4:30-6:30 pm)
• Meeting #2: Tuesday, January 31, 2023 (4:30-6:30 pm)
• Meeting #3: Wednesday, February 15, 2023 (4:30-6:30 pm)
