Great Peninsula Conservancy is growing! As development pressure continues to rise in our region, GPC is working to keep up with the pace. To do so, we are hiring a Conservation Project Manager to increase our acquisition efforts and broaden our scope. The position is supported by a grant from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust and an anonymous GPC member (read the story in the Kitsap Sun). To date, GPC has preserved nearly 11,000 total acres and monitors 2,633 acres annually between our preserves and easements. To aid in this task, we are hiring an additional Stewardship Associate to join the team. Applications are open until filled. Please help spread the word! |

This event is limited to 10 guests. A smaller group means you'll see and hear more! This special GPC Walk & Talk will be lead by field ornithologist Dan Froehlich from 8-10 am prior to the Hansville ribbon cutting on March 26th. Learn about the birds who call Hansville Greenway’s forests and wetlands home with a world-renowned expert. Bring your binoculars and your best birding questions! |

March 17, 10am to 12:30pm and March 24, 10am to 12:30pm Don’t miss your chance to explore one of GPC’s lesser-known preserves in North Kitsap, which is usually reserved for wildlife. This is a unique opportunity to get outside, get active, and have a huge impact on the health of our local forests. We’re building habitat piles again — sign up below if you can help! |
