Announcing the 2023 Conservation Award Winner! |

 |
The Gary Allen Cunningham Conservation Award recognizes a partner or volunteer who has made a significant contribution to GPC’s mission. This year GPC recognizes Phil Best for his lifelong commitment to conservation in our region. Phil has been a board member of Hood Canal Environmental Council and Kitsap Land Trust, which merged into GPC in 2000, where he continued as board member. As a Kitsap County Commissioner (1995-1998), Phil helped the county come into compliance with the Growth Management Act and then represented Washington counties on the state Land Use Study Commission. Thank you Phil for everything you do! |
